Description

The Church of St Mary, located on Church Lane in Ramsden Crays, is a Grade II* listed building. Except for the bell tower and broach spire, the church was completely rebuilt in 1871 using random stone and flint, topped with a tiled roof. Some features from the 15th-century church have been incorporated into the new structure. The bell tower, which dates back to the 15th century, is weatherboarded and topped with a shingled broach spire. The tower's frame includes heavy brace timbers running from north to south.
