Description

A pair of cottages located on the south side of High Street, Fen Ditton, dating from the early 19th century. They are timber-framed and have been plastered, with a long straw thatched roof. A tall brick ridge stack is present. Red pantiled and painted brick gable lean-tos extend to the east and west. The cottages are one storey high with an attic. A modern casement dormer window is visible, along with a replacement casement window to the left of the main entrance to No. 21. No. 19 features a horizontal sliding sash window with glazing bars and shutters, and a boarded door. The building is documented in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments for East Cambridgeshire at page 62, monument 31.
