Description

Church Bridge is a road bridge and drainage sluice built in 1839. It is constructed of ashlar and brick, with some areas rendered. The bridge features a plain round arch and has canted brick and ashlar side walls. It has an ashlar-coped plain parapet with a coped top and square piers topped with pyramidal shapes. The west side of the parapet is inscribed with the date "ERECTED 1839," and this side also includes a pair of wooden sluice gates.
