Description

The Thatch is an early 19th-century cottage constructed with a gault brick casing over a timber frame. It features a long straw thatched roof and has a local brick ridge stack. The cottage is one storey with an attic and follows a two-unit plan. The south-facing elevation includes one recessed horizontal sliding sash window, with two doors positioned to the right and left. Additionally, there are two recessed horizontal sliding sash windows in the east gable.
