Description

This is a late 19th-century farmhouse built on the site of an earlier 17th-century farmhouse, incorporating reused materials. The farmhouse is constructed of gault brick with red brick detailing and has a roof covered in local 17th-century plain tiles. It is two storeys high and has three bays. A closed, gabled porch is present. The windows are recessed four-pane hung sash windows with red brick relieving arches; there are three on the first floor and two on the ground floor. A boarded entrance door features a large rectangular fanlight above. A large 17th-century brick stack with a moulded cornice and four diagonally-set shafts is located on the north gable. Internal features include reused 17th-century moulded ceiling beams and some panelling.
