Description

Paddock Cottage is a cottage with origins dating back to the late 17th century, which has been renovated and extended in the late 20th century. It features a timber frame that is rendered and has a reed thatched roof. The building has two ridge stacks that are now rendered and consists of four bays. It is one storey high with an attic. The west front includes two box dormers, three ground floor casement windows, and a glazed door, all of which are from the late 20th century. Inside, some 17th-century framing is exposed in the north wall, along with reused timber in the ceiling frame. There is also a moulded brick post in the north wall.
