Description

The Old Post Office is a house dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of flint rubble with gault brick rusticated quoins and dressings, featuring end stacks and a slate roof. The building has two storeys and cellars, with a symmetrical three-bay facade. The entrance consists of a recessed six-panelled door set within a segmental brick arch, flanked by two sixteen-paned windows on the ground floor, which also have similar arches above them. On the first floor, there are three twelve-paned windows.
