Description

Rose Cottage is a 17th-century timber-framed cottage located on the north side of Cow Lane in Fulbourn. The building has a steeply pitched roof now covered in corrugated iron, originally thatched, with a gault brick ridge stack. It has a three-bay plan with the main entrance in the centre bay. The cottage is two storeys high and features two small horizontal sliding sash windows with small panes and flush heads, set within the eaves. A boarded door provides access. The interior is not documented, but accounts suggest it retains substantial timber framing.
