Description

The hundred stone is a large limestone monolith that is roughly squared and mounted on a pavement made of four limestone slabs. It is located approximately 10 metres to the north-west of the gateway to the churchyard of the Church of St Mary in Leighton Bromswold, on the north-east side of Church Lane. This stone, which was discovered recently, is believed to be the hundred stone of Leightonstone hundred.
