Description
The chest tomb, located 8 metres south of the chancel of the Parish Church of St Mary, dates from the 18th century and is made of limestone. It features panelled sides adorned with fluted pilasters, and has moulded edges on both the cover and the plinth. The tomb bears an inscription dedicated to Ann Jennings, dated 1784. This chest tomb is a representative example of other 18th and early 19th century memorials found in the churchyard.
