Description

Albion Cottage is a cottage that dates from two building periods, the 17th century and an 18th century replacement to the east of the central stack. It features a lobby entry and a two-unit plan. The structure is timber-framed with modern brick nogging and has a thatched roof that is half-hipped to the east. There is one gable dormer window, a boarded door, and five ground floor windows of various sizes. Inside, the cottage has stop-chamfered ceiling beams and two restored inglenook hearths.
