Description
Tea Kettle Barn, located approximately 500 metres north of Glatton Lane, is a barn that dates from around the 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, featuring a plinth made of red brick and gault brick. The roof is covered with corrugated iron, though it was previously thatched. The barn has three bays, with the central bay featuring opposing double boarded doors. Inside, there is a tiebeam dated '1600' along with some initials and double braces. The roof is half hipped with side purlins and a ridge piece. This barn is similar in style to the barn at Ermine Lodge.
