Description

Beech Cottage and Rose Cottage are 17th century cottages located on the north side of Hilton The Green. They are designed in an L-plan and feature a timber-framed structure with rendered and colour-washed brick. The cottages have a thatched roof that is half hipped at the cross-wing, with a ridge stack that includes diagonally engaged shafts and two later end stacks. The buildings are one storey with attics, featuring two casement dormers and three similar windows on the ground floor. There are two doorways, one of which is in a modern thatched addition to the cross-wing.
