Description
This chest tomb, located 7 metres south-west of the south aisle of the Parish Church of St Mary, dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is made of limestone and features double pilastered quoins with shaped ends. The side panels are adorned with oval plaques, and the cover and plinth have moulded edges. The inscription on the tomb is unclear. This chest tomb resembles another that has collapsed on the south side and is representative of other 18th and early 19th-century memorials found in the churchyard.
