Description
This table tomb, dating from the 19th century, is located 3 metres north-west of the north aisle of the Parish Church of St Giles. It is made of limestone and features a coped slab with a large carved stone cross and palm fronds on two long sides, which enclose shaped plaques. The tomb bears an inscription for William Wells, the eldest son, who was born in 1818 and died in 188-. The coping is supported by six shaped legs that stand on a plain limestone base.
