Description

Reed Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located in Holywell, near Needingworth. It has a three-unit plan and is one storey high with attics. The building is timber-framed and has a rough-cast exterior. The roof is thatched, and it features a ridge stack with a recess dividing two shafts, and a brick end stack on the right-hand side, constructed of local red brick. There are three horizontal sliding sash dormer windows with glazing bars. The front of the cottage also has three small, modern bay windows and a plank door with a leaded light panel.
