Description

No. 52 Main Street, formerly the Barley Mow Public House, was built in 1804 using stone from St Benet's Church in Huntingdon. This L-shaped building has one storey and an attic, topped with a tiled mansard roof featuring two dormers that have double hung sash windows. The front facade includes a two-window range of double hung sashes and a centrally located doorcase. The door is a six-panel design with two glazed panels, and it is topped by a hood supported by console brackets. There are brick stacks at the ends of the building. The property has been derelict since 1976.
