Description
The Manor House, located on Main Street in Hartford, is a building that may date back to the late 15th century or early 16th century, possibly from 1542. It underwent alterations in the early 18th century. The structure is timber-framed and plastered, featuring two storeys and gabled cross wings at both ends. There is a jetty on the first floor of the left-hand gable. The facade consists of a 2:2:2:1:1 bay arrangement with sash windows that have glazing bars in flush frames, including an arched window in the first gable from the left. A two-storey gabled porch is also present. The roof is covered with old tiles and has a rebuilt central red brick chimney stack with a panelled front. The building has wings at the rear.
