Description

Nos 76 and 78 on Great Whyte are a house dating from the late 15th century or early 16th century, which underwent significant alterations in the 19th century. The building is timber-framed and has a casing of gault brick. It features an original collar-braced roof that is now covered by a shallow-pitched slate roof from the 19th century. The house has a dentil eaves cornice and three hung sash windows on the first floor. At the ground floor, there are three late 19th-century shop fronts.
