Description

St James' Cottage is an early 18th-century pair of cottages that have been converted into a single dwelling. The building features a shared central ridge stack and lean-tos, and it is one storey high with an attic. The thatched roof is half-hipped to the east. The exterior is made of painted brick and has a dentil eaves cornice. There are four, two, and three-light casement windows set in segmental arches. The cottage includes one blocked doorway and one plank door. Inside, the cottage has stop-chamfered ceiling beams.
