Description

Grove Farm is an 18th century red brick farmhouse, originally known as Park Farm. It is a double pile building, meaning it has two rows of rooms, with a symmetrical front facade. The roof is slate-covered with a mansard profile, tumbled parapet gables, and side chimney stacks. A small hipped dormer window lights the attic space. A moulded stone cornice runs along the top of the building. Two-storey canted bay windows are positioned on either side of the architraved doorcase. Many of the windows were boarded over in 1982.
