Description
Corner Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a hipped roof thatched with long straw. The ridge stack is made of 19th-century gault brick positioned above the ridge. The building has a plain eaves cornice made of brick and stands two storeys tall. The first floor has enlarged openings for two casement windows, while the ground floor has two small pane modern windows with later segmental arches on either side of the doorway. The cottage was extended at the rear in the late 20th century and is included for its group value.
