Description
Crown Cottage is a cottage that was formerly a public house, dating from the 17th century with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is timber-framed and has roughcast plaster on its exterior, along with a deep plinth made of painted and plastered brick. The roof is half hipped and covered with corrugated iron. The cottage has one storey and an attic, arranged in a three-unit plan. There is a ridge stack located to the left of the center of the building. A 20th-century glazed door is accessed by steps, and there are three casement windows on the ground floor. The attic features two dormer windows with horizontal sliding sashes and sloping roofs.
