Description
The stable block to the Manor is an 18th-century building designed in an L-plan, featuring a stair turret at the eastern angle. The roofs are hipped and covered with both slate and plain tiles. Constructed from local red brick, the south-facing facade consists of seven bays, highlighted by a prominent central round-headed archway that includes a brick keystone and imposts, flanked by brick pilasters with moulded caps. Similar pilasters are found at the corners of the building. A 19th-century wooden cupola with a weather vane sits on a brick base above the arch. The building also features a moulded eaves cornice with brick modillions and six hung sash windows with glazing bars set in segmental arches, with the windows to the west possibly being original.
