Description
The barn located to the north-east of Stonea Farmhouse dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed of local gault brick, with some weather boarding and a thatched roof. The structure features three buttressed bays, tumbled parapet gables, and ventilation slits. The main entrance has been boarded up, but there is a pedestrian door and a 20th-century entrance in the east gable. Inside, there are tie bars with the initials I C, and the roof is supported by double purlins.
