Description

This barn, located west of Park Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of brown brick in English bond and features a steeply pitched roof covered with pantiles, which was originally thatched. The barn has tumbled gable end parapets and stands two storeys high. There are openings for a hay loft and granary at the first floor level. Inside, the roof is supported by queen strut roof trusses made from mechanically sawn timbers.
