Description

This is a manor house dating to around 1840. It is constructed from pebbled stone with yellow gault brick used for rusticated quoins, bands, and window dressings. The house has a low-pitched hipped slate roof with two chimney stacks, also of pebbled stone and brick. It follows a double-pile plan, meaning rooms are arranged in two parallel lines, and has two storeys. Windows are arranged in groups of three, with two lights each, and flat arches over them. The central doorway is topped with an arched fanlight featuring ornamental glazing bars. A Tuscan portico, with a segmental plan, provides a covered entrance, and features a flat hood and a cornice with eaves brackets.
