Description
This is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with a later 18th-century extension to its southwest end. The walls are brick, painted, and the roof is thatched with a ridge stack and a tumbled north gable parapet supported by kneelers. The cottage is one storey high with an attic. It has three dormers, each containing a sixteen-pane hung sash window, and four similar hung sash windows on the ground floor, along with one casement window. A doorway is centrally positioned. A southwest bay is an addition, and there is a single-storey thatched wing at the rear. Inside, the ceilings feature exposed beams laid flat.
