Description

This house dates from around 1800 and is located on the south-east side of High Street, Littleport. It is constructed of gault brick in an English bond, with a steeply pitched roof now covered in modern pantiles. The roof has tumbled gable end parapets with rebuilt coping and retains the original cogged brick eaves cornice. Chimneys are located at the ends of the building. The house is two storeys high. The upper floor has three three-light casement windows with modern leaded lights. The ground floor features three three-light cross frame casement windows with modern leading, each with a segmental arch above. The central doorway is framed by wooden pilasters and a heavy moulded cornice, sheltering a panelled door.
