Description

Home Farmhouse is a cottage dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, with the frame exposed on the east gable wall. The roof is covered with plain tiles and the building has an L-plan layout. There are two local 17th-century brick stacks, one of which has been partly reduced and plastered, with grouped diagonal shafts on the rear stack, while a later painted brick side stack is located to the east. The farmhouse has one storey and an attic. The front elevation features three gabled dormer windows with modern lattice light casements, a plastered coved eaves cornice, and three modern casement windows on the ground floor. The main entrance is located in an outshut at the rear.
