Description
9-14 Park Terrace is a building constructed between 1839 and 1840, forming part of the unified Park Terrace development. It consists of three storeys with basements, built from gault brick and topped with a slate roof. A cement band runs below the parapet. The façade features a range of 18 windows, which are set in flat brick arches, although some glazing bars are missing. The doorways have six flush-panelled doors topped by fanlights, also with flat brick arches. An ornamental cast-iron balcony with a verandah extends along the entire first floor, supported by cast-iron brackets with foliated scroll designs and decorated in a free Greek style. The original staircases inside are of a plain design. All the listed buildings in Park Terrace are recognized as a group.
