Description
Little Hall and the attached Lecture Theatre block at Cambridge University is a lecture theatre block with a separate lecture theatre. Designed by Casson, Conder & Partners, it was planned in 1952 and constructed between 1957 and 1960. The building features brick and concrete construction with a metal roof. Little Hall has a polygonal chamfered shape, with brick walls and a chamfered metal roof that rises to a point. The attached lecture theatre block has a rectangular plan and is made of brick, featuring irregular window arrangements. This building is an integral part of the planned scheme for Sidgwick Avenue.
