Description

The Chapel of St Mary Magdalene, also known as Stourbridge Chapel, is a complete and largely unaltered chapel dating from the mid-12th century. It consists of a chancel and nave, with a roof added in 1400. The west wall was altered in 1867. The building is constructed from ashlar, flint, and brick, topped with a tiled roof. It features unusual architectural and carved decorations from the tile period. The chapel is owned by the Cambridge Preservation Society.
