Description

Nos 1 to 4 on Jesus Lane, built around 1825, are three-storey buildings made of grey gault brick with a stone plat band. They feature two windows with sashes that have glazing bars, although No 2 has a modern ground floor window. Nos 1 and 2 have modern shopfronts, while all except No 2 have round-headed doorways. The panelled doors of Nos 3 and 4 are complemented by modern doors on the others, with fanlights above. The buildings have a parapet with stone coping and a slate roof, which is not visible. Nos 1 to 4 form a group with Nos 1 to 4 on Bridge Street.
