Description

The Whitmore Arms Public House is an early 19th-century building constructed of rendered brick, topped with a grey slate hipped roof. It features two storeys and a double range plan. The front has a three-window arrangement with double-hung vertical sliding sashes that include glazing bars. On the north elevation, there are three blind windows. A slate canopy supported by brackets extends across the full length of the front. At the south end, there is a canted bay window with sashes. The building is also adorned with grey gault brick chimney stacks.
