Description

Field House is a 16th century timber-framed and plastered house featuring an 18th century red brick facade. It has a hipped roof covered with red plain tiles and stands two storeys high with attics. The building consists of three bays plus a chimney bay, and has a five-window range with double-hung vertical sliding sashes that include glazing bars set in segmental heads. There is a modern porch and an 18th century semi-circular fanlight. The 16th century red brick chimney stack has been rebuilt at the top.
