Description

Chalkwell Hall is an early 19th-century house, built around 1830, and is finished in stucco. It stands three storeys tall, featuring a three-window arrangement on both the north and south fronts. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars set in plain reveals. On the south front, the ground storey includes French casements and a modern canopy, along with a wooden balcony that spans the front. The north front is highlighted by a central doorway flanked by projecting plain pilasters and topped with an open pediment. Both the north and south fronts also have plain end pilasters and raised bands separating the storeys.
