Description

The Old Alms Cottages are a pair of 18th-century cottages, originally built as almshouses. They are constructed from coursed stone and feature flush quoins and window dressings. The cottages have a steeply pitched Collyweston stone roof with coped gable ends and stand two storeys tall. There is a screen corridor range connecting them. The windows have been replaced with modern casements that include glazing bars, and there are three modern ledged doors. On the ridge, there are two large square ashlar chimney stacks.
