Description
The Fitzwilliam Arms is a 17th to 18th century building made of coursed stone rubble, featuring a thatched roof with gabled ends. It has one storey and an attic, with a range of four windows that include casements with small panes. The building also has four eyebrow dormers. There is a modern gabled stone porch located off centre, which also has a thatched roof. Brick stacks are present at both ends and along the ridge. Locally, it is known as The Green Man due to the topiary boxtree figure situated in front of the building.
