Description
Poplar Farmhouse is a late 18th-century house located at right angles to the road. It is constructed of coursed stone rubble and features a Collyweston stone roof with gabled ends. The building has two storeys and a three-window range, with three-light casements and a two-light window at the center of the first floor. A central panelled door is present, along with stone end stacks. At the rear, there is a wing with a gabled end and external stone stairs leading to a first-floor door, as well as an old hipped dormer. Notably, there is a semi-circular oven on the end wall, which has a stone roof.
