Description
No 5 is a late 18th-century stable that has been converted into a dwelling. The building is constructed of coursed stone rubble with flush quoins and features a Collyweston stone roof with gabled ends. It is positioned at right angles to the road and consists of two storeys. At the center, there is an elliptical arched carriageway with ashlar voussoirs and a keyblock, which is now blocked and has windows at the top and double doors below. On the left and right sides, there is one modern casement window on each floor, and the right-hand ground floor has a plain doorway. An early 19th-century wing extends to the east, made of stone with a lower Collyweston stone roof, and it has a modern glazed door and window inserted into the blocked carriageway.
