Description

Longthorpe Post Office is an 18th-century building located on the south side of Longthorpe. It is a single-storey structure with attics, constructed of plaster on rubble and topped with a thatched roof. The building features one dormer at the eaves with a casement window, and there are two modern brick chimneys. It has two casement windows with glazing bars and wooden lintels, along with a modern door also featuring a wooden lintel. The Post Office section includes one casement window with glazing bars and a modern door. To the right of the main building is a later extension for the Post Office, which has a pantiled roof.
