Description

Chain Cottage is an 18th-century building located on the south side of Longthorpe. It is constructed of painted rubble and features a thatched roof. The cottage is one storey high with attics and includes three dormers at the eaves, along with 19th-century casement windows. There are two windows with wood lintels and three-light 19th-century casements. The entrance has a plain door. Chain Cottage and Longthorpe Tower House are part of a group of buildings.
