Description

No. 11 and its adjoining outbuilding are probably of 17th and 18th century origin. The cottage is a rubble stone building, laid in courses, and is L-shaped. It has a thatched roof with gabled ends and a hipped angle. The cottage is one storey high with attics, and contains a gable dormer window with a casement. There are two windows, dating from the 19th century and more recent additions, both with casements and chamfered wooden lintels. A plank door also has a similar lintel. An end chimney stack is made of brick. To the right, the outbuilding adjoining the cottage to the north-east has a lower hipped thatched roof and vertical boarded walls.
