Description

Stone Lea is an 18th century cottage built from coursed stone rubble. It features a thatched roof with gabled ends and has one storey with attics. The cottage has two dormers at the eaves fitted with modern casements, and on the ground floor, there are two modern casement windows with wooden lintels. The front of the building is supported by three rendered buttresses, and there is a modern porch on the right side. It has two chimney stacks at either end and a modern single storey extension at the north end. The cottage is positioned at right angles to High Street, with its back facing Stocks Hill.
