Description

This is a 19th-century terrace of two pairs of houses with a central, elliptically arched passageway. The building is constructed of plum-coloured brick, with flush red brick dressings and a pantiled roof featuring a paired bracketed cornice. It is three storeys high and has eight sash windows, each with marginal glazing bars within cutter flat arches. There are two pairs of doorways, each with a four-panel door (number 9 has been altered), an oblong fanlight, panelled reveals, reeded pilasters, and an entablature with a dentil cornice. Numbers 9 to 15, together with numbers 29 and 31, form a group of local interest with numbers 1 to 7 and 17 to 27.
