Description

Nos 19 and 21 on Hockliffe Street in Leighton Buzzard are a 16th-century low timber-framed building. It was likely originally a single storey, with a first floor and a brick chimney stack added to the back wall. The front is finished in whitewashed brick and features two unobtrusive shop windows. There are three sash windows on the first floor. Inside, there is a partly exposed roof truss, and the building has a thatched roof. Nos 17 to 21 (odd) and No 21A are part of a group.
