Description

Woburn Lodge is a 17th-century barn that has been converted into a house, with significant alterations made in the 20th century. The structure is timber framed with mottled brick infill, much of which was replaced in the 20th century. The ground floor studs have largely been replaced by brickwork. The gable end facing the road is encased in brick, primarily composed of red and grey bricks from around 1700 arranged in English bond, with 19th-century brickwork at the attic level. The roof is covered with clay tiles. The building has a long rectangular shape, with the gable end oriented towards the road. It features 20th-century doors and windows with leaded lights. Woburn Lodge is included for its group value.
