Description

No. 51 High Street is a 13th-century building constructed with local bond brickwork featuring grey headers and red brick dressings. It has a dentil cornice and a parapet with moulded stone coping that screens the roof. The building stands three storeys tall and has three sash windows with glazing bars set in flush moulded frames, all under segmental arches. The central window arches are scalloped, and the second-floor window aprons have guttae. This property is part of a group that includes Nos. 35 to 51 (odd) and Nos. 55 to 59 (odd).
