Description

Nos 34 and 36 on High Street are a late 16th century or early 17th century timber-framed house. It features a steeply pitched tiled roof with a central chimneystack and stands two storeys tall. The building has projecting late 19th century shop fronts. The first floor of No 34 showcases exposed timber framework with brick nogging and a sash window, while No 36 is finished in rusticated stucco and has two small double light casement windows. Nos 34 to 40 (even) form a group.
